Happy New Year, everyone! In exactly four months from today, I will be gettin’ hitched. Crazypants, right?!
So - my newest project: I made a series of virtual inspiration boards, per the recommendation of my lovely lady friend Kestrin (whose really fantastic wedding was featured on Green Wedding Shoes. And in the New York Times! What?! So obvs, this lady knows what she’s talking about).
Using my rudimentary Photoshop skillz, I whipped together 4 different boards - I tried to keep each one similar in theme/colorscape. Only one is purple-centric (purple is my color - but I definitely don’t want to overdose on the purple and plan on using many other complimentary colors), the others are more for design/decor/styling inspiration.
This is the first one I did - I really dug the 500 Days of Summer shoot on Green Wedding Shoes, which served as a starting point for building this board. Of course, I loved that movie (the cinematography, the interior styling, the clothes) and love Zooey D. so it’s no surprise that this served as an inspiration for me!
I particularly like the fabric heart cake topper - I might have to look into making one.

In an effort to not spam my friends with matrimonial talk all over the Interwebs, I created a separate all wedding, all the time site wherein I can indulge my bridal impulses. Follow along if you dare!
